4 Seasons Motorhome Hire
Terms and Conditions
Eligibility
Only the named driver on the proposal form may drive the hired vehicle
All named drivers must be over 25 and under 70 years of age and of good health and held a valid/full
driving licence for the last 2 years
The licence must be clean with no endorsements there is a small loading on the insurance premium
for speeding convictions contact us for a quote
All driving licences must be produced at motorhome collection If you have a photo card licence both
the card and counterpart must produced we also require the drivers passport and two recent utility bills
from their home address
Persons with serious convictions within the last eleven years including drink driving offences will not
be permitted to drive the hire vehicle
Bookings
Telephone bookings can be made on telephone 01900 605622 or mobile 07887 991500 or email info@4seasonsmotorhomehire.co.uk although can only be held for up to five days until a booking deposit of £200 per week
has been received
The booking deposit is non refundable and shall be deducted from all hire charges
Confirmation of the booking will be posted together with a invoice in respect of the tariff
and damage deposit
Cancellation of Bookings
Cancellations must be in writing and are charged as follows:
- Should you wish to cancel your confirmed booking up to four weeks prior to or fail to turn up for commencement
of hire you will forfeit the booking deposit and booking charge already paid
- Should you cancel your confirmed booking you will forfeit your booking deposit
- This will also apply if upon inspection of named drivers licences they are found to be invalid or do not comply with the
information stated on the booking form
- 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire recommend that the hirer takes out their own cancellation insurance
Payment
Full payment is due by cheque bank draft building society cheque or cash fourteen days prior to hire commencing
The damage excess of £500 is payable seven days prior to hire commencing or by cash on the day of hire and is
fully refundable five working days after return of the vehicle on the agreed date and time
Late returns will be charged at a rate of £30 per hour
Availability
Whilst we will make every effort to ensure that the reserved motorhome is available. If due to circumstances beyond our control
it is not possible to supply that motorhome we will do our best to supply an alternative model. or offer a full refund
in the event of the motorhome having collision damage on a previous hire thus making it unavailable 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire
will refund the full cost including booking deposit to the hirer
Insurance
The motorhome is Fully Comprehensively insured for the named drivers during the hire period only as described on the
booking form up to two additional drivers can be added at an additional charge please contact us for prices under no
circumstances has anyone other than the person(s) named on the hire agreement to drive the vehicle
A refundable deposit of £500 is payable upon vehicle pickup in the event of an insurance claim a further £250 will be
payable to cover the full insurance excess of £750 this will be payable two weeks after the invoice date Any damage to the
vehicle during the hire period that is not covered by an insurance claim will be deducted from the refundable deposit this
will include any loss of equipment
Every accident or any damage must be reported to 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire immediately by telephone and an accident
form will have to be completed at the end of the hire period
Any damage to tyres ,windscreen and any theft of personal property is not covered by our insurance and any such damage
shall be at your expense 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire recommend the hirer takes out there own personal belongings insurance
Driving by non-named drivers and any late returns of motorhome renders the insurance invalid and the driver commits an
offence under the road traffic act and will be solely responsible for any damages or personal injuries incurred
Limitations and Liabilities
4 Seasons Motorhome Hire accepts no responsibility for replacement vehicle costs travel or accommodation costs or any
other loss claims arising from a motorhome breakdown or accident
The Hirer

Is liable for any costs incurred for speeding or parking fines congestion charges or any other offences committed against
the road traffic act regulations

Must remember although these are leisure vehicles it is an offence to drink and drive

Undertakes responsibility for the control of the vehicle on hire to you

Is liable for any overhead damage to the vehicle resulting from any accident The maximum height is clearly stated

Shall not tow any trailer or vehicle behind the hired vehicle

Shall not carry more passengers than the seating capacity of the vehicle as defined in the vehicles specification
or allow the vehicle to be overloaded

Shall ensure that the driver and all passengers required by law to do so shall at all times when the vehicle is being driven
wear the seat belts provided

Shall not use the vehicle to carry passengers or goods for hire or reward

Shall not ,without written consent from 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire remove the vehicle from the UK mainland
Breakdowns and Accidents
In the event of a breakdown or accident a repair service is provided for our motorhome (details inside vehicle)
You are authorised to spend £100 on any necessary repairs and/or replacement parts and we will reimburse you
against a valid VAT receipt
Any repair above £100 will have to be authorised by 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire
Any breakdown malfunction or damage caused by your negligence must be repaired at your own expence
General
The motorhome and its contents remain the property of 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire at all times
The hirer is required ,To keep the vehicle securely looked at all times when it is left unattended and to refrain from any action
or omission which may prejudice 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire rights to the vehicle
The following are strictly prohibited in our motorhomes and 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire reserves the right to retain in any
Part or whole the refundable deposit if additional deep cleaning or repair is required upon return of the vehicle due to

Smoking- £100 Penalty deducted from deposit

Any animals- £100 penalty deducted from deposit

Additional deep cleaning- penalty deducted from deposit
4 Seasons Motorhome Hire reserve the right to vary rates and conditions at any time
4 Seasons Motorhome Hire offer free car parking for your car whilst you are away however vehicles are left entirely at
owners risk only one allocated parking space is provided per motorhome hire
Vehicle Conditions
The hirer acknowledges delivery of the vehicle and its contents free from defects or damage other than specified by
4 Seasons Motorhome Hire
Before the commencement of the hire the hirer is advised to check the vehicle thoroughly before leaving the
premises of 4 Seasons Motorhome Hire
The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as when hired, with the interior and appliances clean
under no circumstances have any plastic or work top surfaces in the motorhome cleaned using any scourers or abrasive cleaners
4 Seasons Motorhome Hire may charge a penalty for cleaning un-emptied chemical toilets and dirty gray water tank
Fuel and Oil
A full tank of fuel will be supplied with the vehicle at the start of the hire and the hirer is expected to return the vehicle with
a full tank of fuel
The Motorhome is DIESEL the Hirer is liable for any costs incurred should they use the wrong fuel
The hirer is responsible for the regular checking of the oil and coolant and the use of the correct oils and fluids
Gas
Two 6kg gas bottles are provided at the time of hire at least one will be full should one bottle run out on hire the hirer has to s
replace it the motorhome has to be returned with at least one full bottle of gas |
